Magnified! VBS will encourage kids to look closely at the details of God’s amazing world and magnify, or proclaim, the greatness of God. God made us, cares about us, loves us, forgives us, and is faithful to keep all His promises to us. We can praise God together! We were made to magnify God!
Bring your Curiosity to Magnified VBS!
Zoom into the intricate details of a tiny acorn and gaze up into the massive limbs of the oak tree. Kids will be challenged to stand in awe of God’s spectacular creation and see how He keeps the whole universe going and growing, yet He still cares about what’s going on in their lives. Kids will learn that they can be confident God loves them and He will be faithful to keep His promises!

MAGNIFY GOD
The Big Truth:
God created everything there is, and yet He still wants to spend time with me.
Zoom In:
I am important to God.
Today’s Point:
God sees me.
Bible Story Title:
Jesus and the Children (John 1:1-3,12; Mark 10:13‑16)
Bonus Verse:
But to all who did receive him, he gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in his name. (John 1:12)
MAGNIFY GOD’S LOVE
The Big Truth:
God is not OK with sin, and yet He still loves sinners like me.
Zoom In:
I can be confident God loves me.
(Preschool: I can know God loves me.)

God loves me.

The Woman at the Well (John 4:1‑42)

But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

Jesus came to save the world, and that includes me.

I can trust Jesus as my Savior.

God forgives me.

God is faithful with the big things in my life, and He will be faithful with the small things too.

I don’t have to worry because God keeps His promises.

God keeps His promises.

Meet the leaders
JENNI CARTER
Jenni is a dedicated children’s ministry leader and has been an integral part of the Georgia Baptist Mission Board for over a decade. She served as the statewide kids ministry consultant and made significant contributions to nurturing faith development among children in Georgia. Jenni recently retired after faithfully serving over a decade with the Georgia Baptist Mission Board. We are honored to have Jenni serving as our interim Kids Ministry Director at Kennesaw First Baptist.
HEATHER SMITH
Heather Smith is a dedicated preschool director and has been an integral part of Kennesaw First Baptist] for a number of years. Serving as the preschool director, she has made significant contributions to nurturing the early development and learning of young children. Heather continues to serve as the Preschool Director at VBS this year faithfully. She looks forward to seeing all the bright, eager faces this summer.
