Wednesday Night Discipleship
Wednesday nights are a great time to refocus in the middle of the week by joining with other believers to study God’s Word through an in-depth discipleship course taught by one of our many gifted teachers. The classes currently offered this quarter include:
A Jesus Shaped Life by Lisa Harper. Theology isn’t just for scholars and seminary students—it’s for everyone who wants to know God more deeply. In A Jesus-Shaped Life, Lisa invites you to explore the character of God, the richness of your relationship with Him, and how that relationship shapes every aspect of your life. Led by Lynn Gordon, will meet in the Fellowship Hall.
Revelation by Dr. J. Perry Fowler. Perhaps no other book of the Bible feels as inaccessible and as intimidating to us as Revelation. Two thousand years ago, John’s Revelation was circulated and read aloud among seven churches in Asia Minor. Those who heard the letter understood it and drew encouragement from its message. The same can be true for you today. Join us as we take a closer look at Revelation and discover how it speaks both a steadying word of assurance and a strong call to endure to the church in every age. Led Dr. J. Perry Fowler, will meet in the Kennesaw First Chapel.
Prepare Your Heart for the King. Come join Discipleship Pastor, Ryan O’ Kelly and Worship Pastor, Chaston Miller for an Advent Study to prepare our hearts for the birth of the Savior! In this study we will enjoy a brief time of worship with an Advent hymn and will dive deeper into the four pillars of Advent: Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love. This class will meet in Room 339.
