Wednesday Night Discipleship

Home Events Adults Discipleship Featured Wednesday Night Discipleship

Wednesday nights are a great time to refocus in the middle of the week by joining with other believers to study God’s Word through an in-depth discipleship course taught by one of our many gifted teachers.  For more information on Wednesday Night Discipleship, please contact the church office or email our Discipleship Pastor, Ryan O’Kelly at ryan.okelly@kennesawfirst.church. We would love to connect with you!

Classes include the following:

Revelation by Dr. J. Perry Fowler – Perhaps no other book of the Bible feels as inaccessible and as intimidating to us as Revelation. Two thousand years ago, John’s Revelation was circulated and read aloud among seven churches in Asia Minor. Those who heard the letter understood it and drew encouragement from its message. The same can be true for you today. Join us as we take a closer look at Revelation and discover how it speaks both a steadying word of assurance and a strong call to endure to the church in every age. Led Dr. J. Perry Fowler, this study will meet in the Kennesaw First Chapel.

What Every Christian Ought to Know will provide readers with a well- organized, well-reasoned grasp of such topics as salvation, eternal security, prayer, the Holy Spirit, resisting temptation, finding God’s will, as well as the authority of the Bible and how to understand it better. A valuable volume for new Christians and young disciples, it’s also a suitably instructive resource for believers of all ages. “What Every Christian Ought to Know” led by Discipleship Pastor Ryan O’Kelly and will meet in Room 339.

Joshua: Be Strong & Courageous – The Book of Joshua offers spiritual keys for the warfare that comes with leaving what’s behind and moving forward into our blood-bought redemption. Whether we are to arm ourselves with testimony or remain obedient during uncertainty, we must ultimately lean on God for the power to overcome. There is no end to how much darkness this world will wield against our walk with Christ. Nevertheless, we must know that God has already won the war on our behalf. In the same manner that Joshua marched around the walls of Jericho and faced the threats of kings, we, too, must be strong and courageous in the face of our own challenges. “Joshua: Be Strong & Courageous” led by Lynn Gordon will meet in the Fellowship Hall.

Also Offered: Men’s Bible Study, led by Terry Stork, will meet in Room 333.  If you have any questions, please contact Discipleship Pastor, Ryan O’ Kelly at ryan.okelly@kennesawfirst.church
